Spaaaace Elevator
use ARROW KEYS or A and D to control!
- My first jam game, but also a first for procedural level generation and recycling game objects from a pool to create a resource-light endless runner.
- Nerdy detail: the center column rotates using a sine function with y-world-axis-driven offsets for the individual pieces.
- You rotate around the center of the space elevator.
- Segments are rotated back into view as they fly past you.
- Enemies and obstacles rotate around the center column.
- Everything rotates because Spaaaaaaace. ;)

Awesome visuals and a great soundtrack, too!
Danke :) also thank you for the feedback on discord!
I cant start game
This game is really funny and challenging. Music is motivating, really good work!
Thank you, XScoder!
A great example of a game that makes the most out of a simple concept!
I love the different obstacle types, and the visuals are amazing! I like the increase of difficulty as the spaceship gets faster.
The game was well scoped for a 48 hour game jam and very fun and polished!
Well deserved first place! I actually participated in the jam too, but never saw your game before the results were announced. I found it again on twitter and thought I'd give it a go!
Keep up the great work!
Thank you :)
Very well designed. Great Work!!
thanks! :)
Can't figure out how to start the game, the button seems to be under the instructions text?
Hey taybenlor, try reducing your browser zoom and then the button should be clickable - it’s a responsive UI issue that will be fixed soon. With the workaround it should be playable though.
Damn how did I miss this game during the Jam? Music, visuals, and gameplay are great. Really love the neon aesthetic in the lights, and starting countdown. And first Jam?? Great job!
Looks and plays amazing. Pretty impressive for a days work. Dust particles do a great job of showcasing the speed and the music bangs hard!
🙇♂️💜 thanks, Taro
Very nice game! The polish is really sweet. Fantastic music choice! I really like the visual style: the glow really pushed the retro space theme.
Managed to get to 1171. Super impressive that this is your first game jam! Well done :)
thank you, Mark :)
composed the music earlier this year and had it laying around for exactly that type of game.
